Enter your followers, niche, audience and format – we’ll estimate what a sponsored post on X (Twitter) is worth. For creators: what to charge. For brands: what to budget.

What a sponsored post on X costs per 10,000 followers
On X a post is usually priced by follower count: followers × the rate per 10,000 followers × niche and format multipliers. Below are benchmarks for a standard post in a general niche.
All rates here are estimates. Public X rate data is thin and contradictory: per-follower benchmarks differ about 10× between sources. For English-speaking audiences we use $2–20 per 1,000 followers, i.e. $20–200 per 10,000. There’s no regional X data, so regional ratios come from YouTube pricing. There’s no study of Russian-language X either (X is blocked in Russia), so that audience is priced like Eastern Europe. Niche and format multipliers are CreatiCalc estimates; crypto is based on crypto creator rate data, and health, lifestyle and gaming come from our YouTube calculator.

Why two accounts with the same followers charge differently
Asking vs paid
On Collabstr, X creators asked $179 per deal on average but were paid $76 – about 42% of the asking price. The gap is much smaller on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
Niche
Finance and business pay about twice the general rate, tech and AI about 1.5× (CreatiCalc). Crypto KOLs charge 3–10× standard rates.
Format
A thread costs about 1.8× a single post, an article 1.5×, a video post 1.4× and a Spaces audio session about 0.7× (CreatiCalc).
Extras
30-day category exclusivity adds about 20%, usage rights for brand ads about 40%, rush delivery about 25%. A bundle of 3+ posts is 15% cheaper in the calculator.
Public X rate data is thin: per-follower benchmarks differ about 10× between sources, and most deal data comes from crypto. Treat the result as a starting point for negotiation.

How the calculator works, where the numbers come from and how to agree on a sponsored post price on X.
How accurate is the estimate?
It’s a rough benchmark. Public X rate data is thin, and sources differ by about 10×. The real price depends on engagement, audience quality, niche and negotiation. Ending up 2× or more off the estimate is normal.
Where do the numbers come from?
Per-follower rates come from WebFX, Shopify and the CreatiCalc calculator; niche and format multipliers from CreatiCalc; average deal sizes from the Collabstr marketplace report (21,000+ collaborations); crypto rates from ICODA, Flexe.io and Elev8or. Links are in the “How we calculate” block.
Why followers, not views?
On X a post is usually priced by follower count, and almost all public data comes in that form. We found no per-1,000-view rate for general niches. For crypto accounts it’s $20–150 per 1,000 views (AP Collective).
How are other regions priced?
There’s no regional X pricing data. The calculator applies the regional ratios from YouTube pricing to the English-speaking rate.
Is it free?
Yes, no sign-up and no limits: the calculator runs right in your browser.
How much does a sponsored post on X cost with 10K followers?
For an English-speaking audience in a general niche, the calculator estimates $20–$200 per post. The average paid X deal on Collabstr is $76.
And with 100K followers?
For an English-speaking audience in a general niche – $200–$2,000 per post. Finance and business accounts charge about twice that, crypto accounts even more.
How much do crypto KOLs charge on X?
Crypto is the best-documented part of the X market. Asking prices per thread (Flexe.io, Sep 2026): $200–1,500 for 5–25K followers, $1,500–6,000 for 25–100K and $6,000–25,000 for 100–500K. Those are rate cards – paid deals usually come in lower.
Thread vs single post?
A thread is a chain of connected posts that leaves room to explain a product. It costs about 1.8× a single post. An X article is about 1.5×, a video post 1.4× and a Spaces audio session about 0.7× (CreatiCalc).
Creator post vs X Ads?
X Ads is the platform’s own ad product: you pay X, and an auction sets the price. This calculator covers posts bought directly from creators.
